The Beltsville Community Center Preschool is
dedicated to
providing a safe and caring environment for its
participants.
Children in preschool are involved in an enriching
program which
incorporates a quality preschool curriculum.
Activities include
science, art, music, reading readiness, literature,
dramatic play skills
through creative interactive play. Class size is
20 students.
All children must be able to use the bathroom
facilities unassisted.
Children 3 to 5 years old are eligible for our preschool
program.
Three year olds must be age 3 by the start of the program.
Four year olds must be age 4 by August 31st, 2007.

Time: 9:00am to 12 Noon
There are two semesters per school year.
Semester I : September 4th - January 11th
Semester II : January 14th - May 16th
Semesters are approximately 17 weeks.
You may pay the entire semester's fee at the
time
of registration or make three payments. An
individual or families' inability to pay does not
exclude participation. Contact us for more info.

Holidays and Closings (Semester
1)
Preschool will observe holidays when M-NCPPC facilities
are closed,
rather than follow the Board of Education designated
holidays.
Veterans Day: November 12
Thanksgiving Break: November 21-23
Winter Holiday Break: December 21 - January 1
*Preschool will follow Prince George's
County School's
closing policy for inclement weather. There will
be no
pre-school for delayed openings.
**Pre-school closings for inclement weather, M-NCPPC
building/maintenance emergencies, etc... will not be
made up.
Registration Procedures
Registration is accepted on a first-come, first serve
basis.
Prince George's residents receive priority registration
for the
first seven days of the registration period.
Upon registration for pre-school, you will receive a
packet
containing general information, regulations, and medical
forms.
All forms must be returned before attending the
program.
As regulated by the Department of Health & Human
Services Resources, no child will be permitted to
participate in the program until all forms are completed
and returned.
